CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus — known as “The Hub of Analytics” — is situated amidst the scenic Sahyadri mountain ranges, offering an intellectually vibrant and environmentally enriching academic atmosphere. The School of Law offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programmes in law as per the guidelines of the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission. It has a flexible curriculum offering several options in different areas of specialization. It is devised keeping in mind the requirements of legal profession and academia.

The programmes offered at the School of Law incorporate a number of special opportunities such as internships, clinical programme, supervisory research and writing. In order to promote interaction between students and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures and workshops are conducted on various subjects of law at regular intervals. In addition to the mandatory courses spanning across a ten semester programme, the School of Law has also introduced numerous other value-added courses and programmes for the benefit of students.

The Student Bar Association (SBA) serves as the representative student body of the School of Law, fostering academic engagement, professional development, and institutional collaboration. Functioning through a dynamic network of specialised committees dedicated to diverse branches of law, the SBA creates platforms for discourse, advocacy, research, and experiential learning.

From organising conferences, competitions, and legal aid initiatives to facilitating dialogue between students and the administration, the Association seeks to cultivate leadership, intellectual rigour, and a vibrant legal culture within the institution. Rooted in professionalism and student participation, the SBA stands as a catalyst for holistic legal education and collective growth.

Lex Rex is the official legal blog platform of the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Established as an academic and intellectual initiative by the Journal Committee in collaboration with the Newsletter Committee under the aegis of the Student Bar Association, Lex Rex serves as a dynamic forum for legal discourse, research, and contemporary analysis.
